The 2025 edition of Intermodal South America, the largest and most comprehensive logistics solutions event in South America, will take place from April 22 to 24, 2025, at the new Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil. It will bring together over 500 exhibiting brands offering technological and operational alternatives for the logistics, intralogistics, freight transportation, and foreign trade sectors.
According to the event’s organizers, the 2025 edition is expected to reflect growth in essential areas for modernizing the logistics chain, such as intralogistics and logistics warehouses, which have already seen a 20% increase in confirmed exhibiting brands. “These segments are expanding due to the demand for agility and technology in storage and distribution operations. This evolution directly responds to the growth of e-commerce and the new digital consumption profile, which challenges the logistics sector,” says Intermodal South America Business Manager, Fernando D’Ascola.
Confirmed exhibitors include companies like JBS Terminais, Samsung, FedEx, Paletrans, JAS, Blu Logistics, Braspress, Wilson Sons, Cosco Shipping, Pacific International Lines, Baggio, Americas Alliance & Ealog, and Toyota Forklifts. “Another noteworthy point is that approximately 20% of the confirmed companies are first-time participants in the event, while 5% are returning to Intermodal South America,” says D’Ascola.
Allink is one of the brands returning to the event. “Participating in Intermodal represents an excellent opportunity to strengthen our relationships with current clients and explore new markets,” says Allink’s Executive Director, André Gobersztejn. He explains that presenting the global platform WorldWide Alliance (WWA) will highlight the brand’s position in the industry. “In this upcoming edition, we will have representatives from various countries in our agent network, which will facilitate connections with our main clients and further strengthen these relationships,” he adds.
Gobersztejn highlights the importance of the new pavilion for the 2025 edition of Intermodal. “We have high expectations. We hope the new pavilion fully meets the needs of exhibitors and visitors in terms of infrastructure so we can make the most of the three days of the event.”
Regarding logistics market prospects for the coming year and emerging trends, he notes that the scenario is tied to external events. “Factors such as prolonged wars and threats to maritime corridors could significantly impact global logistics, driving up freight costs,” he points out. In the domestic market, he mentions a growing movement of acquisitions and vertical integration among companies. “This process will require time for adaptation, but I believe 2025 will be a year of stabilization for the sector,” he evaluates. He also emphasizes the importance of government policies. “Government actions and policies will play a crucial role in the country’s economic growth, directly impacting export and import flows and, consequently, the Brazilian logistics sector.”
Diversity Among Exhibitors
The event’s business manager highlights that, six months ahead of the event, Intermodal 2025 already has a significant number of exhibiting brands. “We also have a unique diversity among the represented segments, making Intermodal 2025 a business hub for virtually all regional production, distribution, and supply chains,” he details.
The event’s exhibitor list includes freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics operators, shipping companies, terminals, airports, and ports, expanding the range of solutions to meet the needs of an increasingly complex logistics chain. In the technology segment, Intermodal attendees will encounter telemetry solutions, tracking systems, software, and systems for optimizing transportation and efficient inventory management, as well as participation from major freight transport companies.
Intermodal offers a complete experience for its visitors, bringing together professionals from over 90 countries in an environment conducive to business, networking, and partnership development. In addition to the trade show, the event will host discussions on the sector’s challenges and opportunities, offering end-to-end solutions for the entire logistics chain through the 3rd Interlog Summit. This summit will feature two simultaneous conferences: the CNL – National Logistics Conference, organized by ABRALOG (Brazilian Logistics Association), and the Intermodal South America Congress.
“We are very optimistic about the 2025 edition. The event’s move to the Distrito Anhembi venue was strategically planned to meet the growing demand from exhibitors and visitors while providing a more robust and dynamic structure for all involved,” concludes D’Ascola.
